Documenting Evidence Tips • Avoid terms that express judgment (“messy office,” “fun activity,” “caring attitude”) • Avoid words that imply quantity (“most,” “few,” “several”) • Stick to the five senses • Remember Who, What, When, Where, How

Improve this Evidence: One Example 2.3 Utilizes shared decision-making and collaboration to build relationships with all stakeholders and maintain positive school morale. The principal conducted a Community Priorities Workshop this year to solicit input from students, teachers, parents, and community groups on setting goals for next school year. In addition, he surveyed all students, parents and teachers to get their input on the goals set by those representative groups. After collating the data from the workshop and the surveys, he set the following goals for next year: increase computer labs, improve communication, and provide more extra-curricular activities for students.
