Question. why do churches and ministries so often lose the essence of their founding vision
What we must do • We must readily acknowledge the practical inevitability of the loss of vision • We must identify, understand and adhere to the founding vision. We must find ways of keeping it before ourselves and our associates without becoming a bore. • We must take steps to live out the central content of the vision.

For I have chosen him, so that he will direct his children and his household after him to keep the way of the LORD by doing what is right and just, so that the LORD will bring about for Abraham what he has promised him.

Integration • If we understand Act 1 to Act 5 Scene 1 our lives in Act 5 Scene 2 will be integrated under our Abrahamic destiny to bless the nations of the world.
Remember • Abraham will surely become a great and powerful nation, and all nations on earth will be blessed through him. For I have chosen him, so that he will direct his children and his household after him to keep the way of the LORD by doing what is right and just, so that the LORD will bring about for Abraham what he has promised him
Retirement! • Three words have characterized our concept of retirement since the turn-of-the-century: detachment, relaxation and leisure. Detachment depicts the release from responsibilities and obligations of career and work. Relaxation describes the manner and mode of living. Leisure is activity free from toil and strain that fills the time and occupies the attention. It seems that the main objective of retirement is to change the retiree from a producer to a consumer in every aspect of life
Just don’t go backward • All of us who are mature should take such a view of things. • And if on some point you think differently, that too God will make clear to you. • Only let us live up to what we have already attained.
