  2. Aim & Purpose • The aim of my slideshow is to present my initial ideas to my peers. • They will then look at my ideas and vote for their favourite, helping me to decide which idea to do for my magazine.

  3. Hip-Hop • Audience Profile: Age 15-23, gender male but can be either and studying at college/university • Blue, purple and black layout, with bold memorable font • ‘Long Awaited’ interview with 10 pence, the new rap sensation

  4. Rock • Audience Profile: Age 14-27, mixed genre, in education and enjoys gigs • Black, red, white layout with a mixture of bold and appealing fonts • A night in the life of a gig-goer at a gig

  5. Electro • Audience Profile: 16-28, male and in education but interested in electro music • Yellow, white, black layout with alternative, unique font • Profile of different sub-genres of electro music, which is best for parties and which is best live

  6. Peers Opinion & Overall Evaluation • Ellie: Idea 1 because it will be the most likely one that I would buy out of the three • Sam: Idea 3 because it looks the most detailed • Mike: I liked ideas 1 and 3 because they were brighter and more appealing • Lauren: I like the design of the first magazine and how it relates to audience, number 2 because appealing genre and layout of 3 suits genre • I have decided to do idea 3 as it is my favourite idea and got good reviews from my peers
