He led a long campaign in the 1920’s against French and Spanish forces.

Absolutely Important Places!! • Marrakech-situated at the foot of the Atlas Mountains, the imperial city of Marrakech is large, noisy, beautiful, and full of ancient history. • Fes- the most complete medieval city of the Arab world. Top spots are-Merenid tombs, the royal palace, and the Jewish quarter.
