The next steps: Case study selection? • ‘Key Characteristics’ and thus ‘Case Study Selection Criteria’ reliant on Pathfinder Data & Feedback • Iterative approach – no right or wrong! • 10th May 2011 – Proposed date for selecting case studies • Starter for ten - one approach to case study selection… Community Action on Climate Change

  14. The next steps: Case study selection? What geographical split do we want? Even Local Authority split? North/South? Equal number for each PO region? What sector do we want to evaluate? Energy/Water/Transport/Food/Other? Does this matter? Issue – how do you consistently categories sectors? Do we only want to look at case studies in the inception stage? How do you baseline projects that are completed? Should funding dictate whether a project is selected/evaluated? Do you only want to work with community groups that have KPIs? Direct/Indirect KPIs, do KPI’s matter? Can we rely on proxies? Are we interested in maximum diversity of coverage? Do we want to compare and contrast community projects? Community Action on Climate Change
