Imaging Node Status • No mission and/or instrument issues • R&A DMPs • Supported 15 DAP-type proposals in FY15, 6 were selected • So far, supported 17 proposals in FY16 • Provided PDS4 pointers and information, archive plan example, guidance for proposers, archive preparers • See http://pds-imaging.jpl.nasa.gov/help/proposals.html • FTE estimates • USGS • DDWG: 0.16 FTE; CCB: 0.12 FTE; Tool development (data delivery): 1.5 FTE; Mission archiving: 1.8 FTE; Other archiving efforts: 0.75 FTE • JPL • DDWG/PDS4 DD: 0.5 FTE; CCB: 0.0 FTE; Tool development (data discovery & delivery): 1.25 FTE; Mission archiving: 1.75 FTE Imging Node

Imaging Node Status • Top 3 Concerns for 4th Quarter FY16 • DAP-type, individual archiving efforts • More and more proposals requiring support • Support is being requested for a wide variety of products (see backup slide), some of which are not supported in PDS4 • Tools, training materials are needed for individual archivists • No expected reduction in data volume in next 5 year plan • Mission extensions TBD • Unplanned extension of MESSENGER mission data archiving (into FY17?) • Minor • Need to start planning for next Planetary Data Workshop (please let me know if you want to be involved) Imaging Node
