Education and Training of a Flute Tutor To be a flute teacher/tutor, it usually takes 2-4 years after high school. If you played flute in school for a school band or had a tutor as a child, it will most likely take less time.
What’s the Salary? On average, flute tutors and teachers make $43,000 per year.
What Does it Take to be a Flute Tutor? All it really takes to be a flute tutor is to be able to play the flute. It will take patience and the ability to work with others, though.
Job Growth Expectancy I think there will always be a need for this job. The need will probably increase (in my opinion), as there are less and less people these days to meet the qualifications.
