Italy’s population • Italy’s population is very big for a small country. Its population is 59,854,860.
Rocky coast • one of the side pictures of one of the coasts in Italy • Most people like to live by the coast because they can look out of their homes and sea the ocean.
Beach • this is a beach in Italy on a rainy day. The beaches can tend to have a lot of sharp rocks and the water nearly goes up to the rock wall.
This is a fountain in Rome. People use this fountain as a wishing well. Every year this fountain gets more then 100,000 dollars in a year all in change. People make wishes when they flip there coins in. This is known that if you throw a coin over your left shoulder and make a wish it may come true. Rome
Homes • This is a view of the water front from many homes in Italy. • The boats in the picture are used for sailors that go out to sea to catch fish.
Food • A pig in a barn that lives in Italy. As you can see covered in mud. This pig is used for food once big enough. • Once the pigs are big enough with enough meat the farmers then will kill them to make food and to get money.
Italy’s Earthquake • In April 6, 2009 Italy was hit with an earthquake. Over 1,500 people injured and 92 people known had died. • Most people died by the buildings that fell on them and the smoke from the buildings.
Sports • This is the world cup in 2002. One of the most played sports soccer. • The second most favorite sport in Italy is figure skating. Mostly the girls figure skate but there are some guys that figure skate.
Farm Animals • Most animals such as pigs, cows, chickens and lambs are all used for food. Most of these animals are used just as farm animals.
streets • The streets in Italy are mostly made out of old rocks and stone. • The newer streets are made out of pavement and lead into most of all of the shops. • All of the buildings are mostly all different colors and can be made up of bricks. The colors of the buildings are the colors that get world wide travelers that get there minds to want to walk into that store.
Restaurants • There are many types of restaurants that can be crossroad of styles and trends in the types of restaurants. • Each restaurants have unique types of foods that make people want to go back for more.
Celebrations • Italians are known for their love of festivals and celebrations and New Year’s Eve is no exception. La Fiesta di San Silvestro is the holiday that is celebrated in Italy on December 31st and Il Capodanno is what is celebrated on January 1st.
Italy Attractions • One of the most romantic hotels and views of the water with the sunset that most travelers go to see.
Some of the money that they use are totally different from the American money. We have $1.00 and $5.00, $10.00,$20.00,$50.00 and $100.00 and more. Italy’s money is different.
