Objectives To manage the effective development of the Teacher Development Unit in close co-operation with SFL management. To ensure staff induction and orientation meet the requirements of teachers with increasingly varied interests, needs and experiences. To meet the needs of all teachers through the development of a range of internationally validated courses. To expand and develop the existing range of short courses available to teachers. To develop the observation programme within the SFL. To continue to deliver a programme of workshops and seminars on a variety of curriculum and materials related topics, and to invite guestspeakers, Includingmembers of staff, to contribute to the programme.
