Career Connects’ mission is to: • Help businesses and industry play an active role in connecting with the future workforce • Develop the talent pipeline to address the future workforce needs in Will & Grundy counties • Connect students, job seekers, and educators to real-world career opportunities in our community • Engage our youth to see that the Will & Grundy Region is a great place to live and work • How do I get involved? • Participation in Career Connects is FREE to businesses and takes very little time. You can participate in Career Connects through a number of different ways: • Set up a Company Profile – You can set up and maintain a company profile to describe your business, highlight your unique attributes, and communicate your areas of need to future employees. • Become a Career Coach – By spending less than an hour per week, you can share your experience and advice with students by contributing to mediated, threaded discussions online. • Offer Career Development Activities – You can post and coordinate work-based learning activities like job shadowing, company tours, internships, etc. that your business offers directly with students/job seekers and educators. 1 2 3 Join Today!
