  2. Transfer tests are a must to get admission in any school in North Ireland. After the abolition of 11+, two different types of transfer tests were introduced. These are known as GL and AQE. The choice about which test to appear depends upon the type of school you want to take admission in. Most of the schools accept any of the two tests but there are some schools which ask for the scores of any specific test. Both of these tests comprise of two subjects namely English and Mathematics.
