Domain Analysis Model • Balloted in January and May 2013 (Informative) • Now ready for publication • Use cases: • Observed new allergy • New reported intolerance • Allergic reaction to a device • Misattribution of an allergy • Known allergy is resolved • Unable to determine triggering agent • No known history of allergy or intolerances • Allergy and intolerance information not asked • Patient documents allergy in a PHR • Reconciliation of allergy/intolerance list (new in May ballot)

  3. EHR/PHR Crosswalk • Allergy glossary harmonized with EHR glossary • Allergy and intolerances included in EHR and PHR functional models • NOTE: Preferences were moved to O & O Diet Orders DAM • Clinical models for preferences will be handled by Patient Care as a separate project

  4. Phase Two – Clinical Models • Project Scope: • Map identified class models to the RIM • Develop an implementation guide • Terminology to support clinical models • Outcome – DSTU to support exchange of allergy and intolerance clinical documentation • Seeking EHR co-sponsorship
