Necessary 1 Composition Book 7” x 9” (Not spiraled) Pen (Think ink!) 1” Binder+ lined paper 2 Dividers labeled: Writing Reading Optional 5-6 Sleeve Protectors Basic color crayons in: blue, red, green, yellow Moveable tabs/sticky notes flash drive to save writing 1 Folder with pockets and prongs for each Unit Or 1 Spiral Notebook (70 pgs) with glue stick for handouts Pen, scissors, pencil 1 Flash drive or disk to save notes and research writing. Note: Disk is $1.00 from Mrs. Beatty in Library. Important: stapler at home to organize and staple work to hand in to teacher. Language Arts Social Studies
Suggested home resources: • Dictionary for Middle School level • Stapler for stapling assignment ahead to avoid losing it. • Computer access to word processing and a disk to save writing assignments on for use in school library and home. (Writable disks sold in library.) • A printer. (School library charges 10 cents a page.) Final assignments may be printed neatly or typed, for major projects such as final essays or research papers • Internet access to http://tvusd.k12.ca.us with favorite to BVMS • If no computeraccess, use school library before, during Break/Lunch, and after school until 3:50.
