Moving Forward • The Army: • Has focused on Counterinsurgency/Stability Operations for 10 years • Is reducing its operations in the Middle East • Has not emphasized conventional operations along the Full Range of Military Operations in the last decade • Is facing a future of: • constrained resources, • environmental training limitations, • training challenges across a myriad of potential operations, and • fewer soldiers needing to do more in their allotted training time • Must maximize the Return on Investment of every training dollar • Fielding Live, Virtual, Constructive – Integrating Architecture
