Cybersafety • Students need to understand the link between the online world and the “real” world. • Students need to realize that the Internet is not a game or a separate universe; it is real life. • Students need to know how to protect themselves against cyber predators, stalkers, and bullies.

Group Activity 1. Identify cybersafety issue(s). 2. Identify mistake(s) made by user. 3. Identify positive choices made (if any) to correct mistake(s) or prevent further harm 4. Give recommendations to improve user’s online experience
Social Networking Safety Tips • Learn about and use privacy and security settings • Keep abreast of changes in privacy policy • Protect your reputation • Once posted, always posted • Think before you post pictures
