  2. First sign’s The first signs of the eruption was an earthquake in ad. 62 But everyone in the small town just thought it was a sign of the gods so they had 2 sacrifices The town was nearly destroyed but no one panicked

  3. D day A.d 79 On August 24th The people of Pompeii Were woken up by the Catastrophic Mt.vesuvius . Although There was lava coming, Most of the people died from the Pyroclastic Flow That was heading at 200 meters a Second and Rocks falling from the sky.

  4. After math The aftermath was not a pretty Sight. Bodies were lying around, A cloud of ash covering the town And buildings destroyed. It is estimated the death toll was 3 to 10 thousand . The town was lost in time.

  5. Discovery In 1559, Pompeii was discovered by tunelers dig an underground channel, but in 1748 they finally finished excavating Pompeii opening it as an attraction. But since then it had been closed and opened and closed again due to rainfall and embarrassed king francis of naples.
