Clever : He is cleverer than his mum.  Pour les adjectifs longs, 2 syllabes qui ne se terminent pas par Y, OW, ER   ou plus de 2 syllabes:  more+ adjectif+ than ex:  intelligent:  He is more intelligent than his brother silent : He is more silent than his neighbour comfortable: this couch is more comfortable than this chair
