Administrative Features • Patient Information Handles information about a patient such as Name,DOB, Phone number, Registration number etc. • Appointments Information about a patients appointment dates, time and the consultant doctor • Drug Schedule Information about a patients drug schedule • Master Data Information about Doctors, Staff, Suppliers, Diagnosis/Tests available, Dressings etc • Diagnostic tests reports status Information about the status of the Diagnostic tests reports of a patient • MIS reports Maintains a log of Messages sent(to whom, phone number, date,time etc.)

How it helps Doctors/Hospital authorities ? • Consultant Doctors schedule for future appointments Doctors schedule and availability timings will be played over the phone, so that patients can fix an appointment as per their convenience. • Appointment reminders to patients • Time to time Drug dosage reminders to patients Time to time drug/dosage reminders and appointment reminders alerts the patient. This kind of service increases the Goodwill of the hospital • Cancellation of appointments due to non availability • of doctors/facilities. • Rescheduled timings of the cancelled appointments Rescheduled timings of cancelled appointments are sent to patients as SMS

General Notifications to public General notifications such as Blood required, Free health camp, awareness on Aids etc. is sent to public as SMS • Special instructions to patients Special instructions are sent to patients as SMS.Ex: Precautions to take before undergoing a surgery, Diagnosis test etc. • General Information General Information such about hospital, facilities available, Test/Diagnosis available, room tariff, Consulting hours etc, are played over the phone with the help of an IVR.

  8. PSTN Information Retrieval Information Flow over Telephone Step 1 Patient comes in and gets registered(Unique ID) and will fix an appointment with the concerned doctor. Step 4 Step 5 Information sought is played to patient Patient receives the required info Step 3 Step 2 Patient calls SHCA for Information. Front desk operator feeds in the patients details like drug dosage, appointment date,phone number etc.
