Learners learn best when- • All aspects of their progress are acknowledged • They understand clearly what they are trying to learn • They are given advice on how to improve their learning • They have opportunities to apply knowledge, understanding and skills in a range of contexts • They have opportunities to assess their own work against clear criteria • They can discuss their learning with their teacher, peers and parents
