The Year You Were Born • What year were you born? • What are your outside interests? • What happened the year you were born in the world of your outside interests? • What connections can you personally make to the impact these events may have had on your life? • For example – maybe there is a reason beyond pop-culture that “Respect” is a favorite song for me to play for you--- maybe I heard it often as an infant? • Or – There’s probably a good reason that it is easy to get the melody “Up Up and Away” stuck in my head… • Did you discover surprises? I did– I thought “Respect” was from the early 1960s. • I did not know that the Super Bowl was first broadcast the year I was born.
