Dearest Team Members Christmas is coming! I’m so excited! Later I will share with you how we can get more sales during Xmas time! Please download things you required to learn – skincare script, things you required for classes, etc. Our Sept seminar just ended, I was crowned Queen of Sales (for Sales Director category across Mary Kay Malaysia & Singapore! There were about 150 directors across Malaysia & Singapore and I beat them to it! It goes to show that if you do your own classes, you will get rewarded too! Do you want to know how I started? I am a very shy person hence I do mass email. I will redraft the email that my SD Leslyn gave me and sent email to companies that I found on jobscentral or any other job website. I emailed directly to the HR contacts to ask them whether they are interested for me to groom their frontliners/ staff. And if they are keen, I will meet up with them to discuss further on the arrangement. I will also call them to make sure that they received my email and then follow up with them. When you got their approval, then meet them up and discuss the flow of the skincare class and always throw in free basic makeup tutorial so that they will be most keen to bring you in (Please make sure you have all the makeup items). Always reward the organiser a “big” gift so that you can show it off among the participants at the workshop. Tip – please keep all free gifts from Mary Kay Ladder of Success or Monthly bonus or NCBs so that you can reward your hostess/organiser. When you go to meet the Organiser, please make sure you wear full makeup and dress like a Make up Trainer. I could go together with you and you can see how I do my presentation. For your own class, please make sure you keep a BEFORE and AFTER picture of yourself, just for their info ( you can show to some of them during your personal class). Here’s my recipes for success to be Queen of Sales for Sales Director category : • Here's my recipes for success : • I love money hence I do 5 skincare classes every week and at least 20 followups every week • Every quarter I aim to achieve ladder of success Emerald achiever! • Find hostess and Pamper your hostess well, I am very generous in giving gifts • I do followups every 2 weeks for new customers to ensure that they start to use the products and if they have questions about the products. In two months time I will meet them to examine or to analyse their skins for improvement. • Always develop happy customers, if they need you, please go and see them immediately. • Most importantly, please keep your skincare classes within 90 mins. • I Do not do hard selling, I only recommend base on their needs. • Image is the key as we are the ambassador of Mary Kay
Not just the outer image, you must improve on your inner image like how you talk to people, how you react to circumstances, social etiquette. • My goal for next seminar is to become Queen of Sharing, and produce 20 Sales Director in my unit and be a National Sales Director by Dec 2013. Debrief for all Consultants/ Every Sunday 1130am (October) at Intl Plaza • Every Sunday at 1130am it’s our skincare/makeup open class. You can bring your guests, however you are required to bring your own products for your guests. • After the whole skincare class, let’s sit down together and do debrief. • As you can see from the above flow of the class, there are 3 parts. To all New Consultants, please memorise the following when you attend my classes: • For first class, memorise what I did for part 1. • Then when you come for the second class, memorise what I did for part 2 • and then when you come for third class, memorise what I did for part 3. During the classes, you can record or video taped me during the classes. This business is all about duplicating . Just duplicate what I did. And treat all your guests with the “Make me Feel Important” attitude. Tell me also your learning key points and what can you improve from there. Challenge for all Consultants (1 Sept to 30 Oct 2012)– If you feel that you are ready, call me to observe your classes. Consultants who conduct at least 3 classes, will get a special gift from me! Building your team (recruiting)= Expand Yr Income HOW TO BUILD YOUR TEAM, BUILD YOUR BUSINESS?
Bridal Fairs New brides make good recruits because they are going through major change in their life. SD Liana, 1/2 to 1/3 of her recruits last year came from brides. Do the bride first along with maybe her mother and her maid of honor. Then go back and do demos with the bridesmaids another day. This will keep you from being there all day. Bazaar/ Booth Fairs • Community day, church functions, look in the newspaper craft fairs etc. • Call them and get a table. It could cost anywhere from free up to about $30.00. Referrals • Never be shy to ask for referrals.. Try this” I really need this job very much, can you refer 3 friends to me. I will give u a gift!” • Men….such as real estate execs, or insurance agents who are always meeting sharp women. Try asking them for help too.
PAMPER SESSIONS • People who work in the healthcare industry, are usually overworked and underpaid. The person in charge is always looking for ways to pamper their staff which won't take a big bite out of their budget. • Do a luxurious hand treatment and have books and samples if they would like something. Have the clients fill out the cards for a free beauty hands-on with you. • Bring a sample hand cream for everyone. • When applying the satin hand treatment really massage their hands and this gives you a brief moment to talk to each person.
Moms/Women’s Groups (Mothers of Preschoolers, Moms of Twins, Women’s Ministries, etc) • Offer to do a small presentation (if you are at their function, do on-the-spot mini facials) • Have samples to pass around, attached to your business card Professional Before & After Photos Tip: Compile a purse-sized one to show potential prospects • To take a Before Shot: Have the model stand in front of a WHITE wall, with a WHITE towel draped around them, then photograph with them NOT smiling • To take an After Shot: Have the model wear a bright blouse and/or a colorful scarf and fluff their hair. Then photograph them WITH a smile .
