  2. Some words abouttraffic in Czech Republic • Wehaveoneofthehighestpercentofaccidents in Europe • Many accidents are causedby bad infrastructure • Drivers rarely see police in the street • Drivers don’t accept rules, althouhgt the enforcement are very high

  3. Introduction – My project • Width11m ! (parametersofrural) – 2 lanes • Reason - It served for through city traffic, but nowadays there were built other alternative routes. So drivers don´t use this road so much as earlier • This „traveldemand“ on widthandcapacity are not usefulandnecessaryandthey are not in accordancewithmoderntrends in projection.

  10. Problems • Width • Traffic signs – horizontal and vertical • Exceeding speed • Pedestrian crossings • Drivers aren’t motivated to keep their speed • Sightconditionson crossings
