VOTING ITEMS FOR TAC LPGRR054, Alignment with NPRR661, Discontinue Posting Profile Data Evaluation Report LPGRR054 proposes the discontinuation of the posting requirement for the Profile Data Evaluation Report, ERCOT Market Information List (EMIL) ID, ZP18-432-M. This information will be available via ad hoc request to ERCOT. Effective Date: Upon system implementation Impact: NPRR661 was determined to have ‘No Impact’ COPS recommends LPGRR054 be tabled for one month pending consideration of NPRR661 at the Board

COPS VOTING ITEMS • COPS voted to confirm the 2015 COPS Working/User Group Leadership: Communications and Settlements Working Group (CSWG) Chair – Heather Boisseau, Lower Colorado River Authority Vice-Chair – Eli Worley, Tenaska Power Services Co. Profiling Working Group (PWG) Chair – Jim Lee, AEP Service Corporation Vice-Chair – Sheri Wiegand, TXU Energy Market Information System User Group (MISUG) Chair – Julie Thomas, Luminant Vice-Chair – Kaci Jacobs, TXU Energy • COPS voted to approve the 2015 Market Data Transparency Service Level Agreement (See Appendix A for change details)

COPS VOTING ITEMS (Continued) • COPS voted to approve their 2015 COPS Goals • Maintain settlements stability in alignment with Protocol Section 8.2, ERCOT Performance Monitoring, Paragraphs (2) (c), Settlement Stability, and (2) (g), Load Uplift Amounts • Improve Commercial Operations processes to accommodate changes in the ERCOT Market design • Work with ERCOT staff to develop Market improvements and Protocols that support increased Commercial Operations data transparency and data availability • Maintain and update the Commercial Operations Market Guide and the Nodal Settlements Operating Guide • Work with ERCOT staff and Transmission and Distribution Service Providers to address issues and facilitate improvements to market rules pertaining to load profiling as reflected in the ERCOT Protocols and the Load Profiling Guide • Perform Retail Load Profiling Annual Validation • Work with ERCOT staff to review Market Communications/Notifications and identify process improvements • Work with ERCOT staff to implement improvements to the Market Information System (MIS) and External Web Services (EWS), data access points for market participants, information security classifications, data extracts and Commercial Operations reports

Q4 2014 Unregistered Distributed Generation (DG) Report Summarized from Protocol Section 16.5, Registration of a Resource Entity, Paragraph (5) • DG with installed capacity greater than 1 MW (the DG registration threshold) must register with ERCOT • ERCOT shall produce quarterly reports on the total unregistered installed capacity of DG greater than 50 kW and below the threshold, summed by Load Zone • If total installed capacity of unregistered DG greater than 50 kW exceeds 10 MW in any Load Zone, then ERCOT must reduce the DG registration threshold, issue a Market Notice that states the new reduced DG registration threshold, and post the requirement on the MIS Public Area

Q4 2014 Unregistered Distributed Generation (DG) Report • Load Zone North was reported to be just over 7,000 kW; Approaching the limit of 10 MW in any Load Zone which will trigger a reduction in the 1 MW DG registration threshold (See graph input data in Appendix C) • ERCOT and COPS will monitor the aggregated unregistered DG and once the limit is exceeded, recommend a value for the reduced DG registration threshold LZ_North

COMMUNICATIONS AND SETTLEMENTS WORKING GROUP (CSWG) 2015 CSWG Goals • Work with ERCOT staff to review Market Communications/Notifications and identify process improvements • Act as a forum for all Settlement issues, elevating to COPS as needed for vote • With ERCOT direction, vet the logic of changes to Settlement in upcoming NPRRs • Continue to update the Settlement Guide/Handbook • Other items, as assigned by COPS

PROFILING WORKING GROUP (PWG) 2015 PWG Goals • Protocol Requirement (due 4/30): Review of UFE for 2014 • 2015 Profile ID Annual Validation Residential • 2015 Profile ID Annual Validation Business • IDR Meter Threshold Workshop Activities as defined by the RMS & the COPS • Load Profiling Guide changes as needed (LPGRRs) • Ad-hoc items as directed by the RMS and/or the COPS

Market Information System User Group (MISUG) 2015 MISUG Goals • Continue TAC-directed review of reports for usefulness and accuracy • Identify project and reports for automation with appropriate NPRRs • Review existing reports on MIS for SCRs • Advance NOGRR094 Daily Operations Report project • Advance External Web Services Modification initiative • Advance SCR775, Dashboard Display of Indicative LMPs • Review of old open items • Other items as directed by the COPS

Appendix A 2015 Market Data Transparency Service Level Agreement (SLA) proposed changes • Section 2.2 Service Characteristics • ERCOT’s six 2015 release windows begin at 7:00 PM on Saturday, instead of 5:00 PM, to allow for the processing of AMS transactions per new tariff language. (Retail Market request) • Updated weekend release schedule, 7:00 PM Saturday - 12:00 AM Monday

Appendix B ERCOT Browser Upgrade Project • ERCOT intends to support IE 8 into 2016.  The market will be given adequate time to migrate to a newer browser before ERCOT discontinues IE 8 support. • ERCOT is testing IE 9, 10, and 11 in both native and compatibility mode to determine what needs to be fixed in the ERCOT applications.  This work will continue through Q1. • The mitigation projects and change requests resulting from the testing will be submitted through the normal ERCOT project process in Q2, to be prioritized and delivered through the normal ERCOT release process.  The release schedule for those projects will determine when the applications are fully supported on the newer browsers. • There are no current plans to expand the number of browsers supported by the ERCOT applications beyond IE 9, 10, and 11.
