In-Class Writing At the top of a blank piece of paper, write your name, your student ID number, the date (February 17, 2014), and my name (Mrs. Keith). Title your paper “Narrative 1.” Write a story about a time when you felt discriminated against. This could be discrimination because of your race, your age, you gender, your socioeconomic status, etc. This writing should be in past tense and should be in the form of a story. This is narrative writing, NOT expository (informative) writing. Try to include characters, dialogue, and a plot. Be sure to end with commentary on how this discrimination made you feel. What did you learn from the situation about yourself, about society, or about human nature?
