Overview • Today’s objectives: • Learn about the process for the 2014 Informal Review Window • Become oriented with new format and structure of submissions • Understand connections to the formal review process and implications for future work • Get individual questions answered

Informal Process • Initiation Phase: • Express Intent • Submit Needs Assessment* • Apply for Programs • Offsite Phase: • Submit Folio • Initial Review by ESE • Update Submission • Folio Out for Review • Determination Phase: • Decision with review findings, commendations, etc. outlined.
Logistics of 2014 Informal Review • Paper v. Electronic Submission • Paper (we’ll be completely electronic in 2015 but we’re not quite there yet) • Electronic Alternative – flash drive • New ORG: • Submit all worksheets • New PROGRAM: • Submit Instruction, Candidate and Field-Based Experiences • Work with Ed Prep Specialist – able to provide technical assistance, not feedback or early judgments. • Internal Submission Batches: • February-March = out for review in April • April-May = out for review in June
