Narrowed Scope • Need to connect Linuxstamp to TNC via RJ-11 • Current software not adequate upgrading to newer Program –ROC • More channels needed in interface between the TNC and Transceiver Space Segment OBC TNC Rx Tx Transceiver Rx Tx Antenna
Status of Project • Ground station able to receive and transmit data from computer
Status of Project • Transceiver disassembly • Pico Packet tested with the ground station computer
Status of Components/systems Received • TNC : PicoPacket On Order • Ground station software To Be Acquired • Cables
Prototypes • Groundstation Prototype using handheld testing Antenna • Space segment transceiver is the current prototype for point to point communication
Future Tasks • Mounting components into Cubesat • Further Groundstation testing using spectrum analyzer • Writing AX.25 software for Cubesat • Cubesat antenna construction • Testing range, power, durability
