We are happy to see you this Morning
1Co 11:23 For I received from the Lord that which I also delivered to you: that the Lord Jesus on the same night in which He was betrayed took bread; 1Co 11:24 and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, "Take, eat; this is My body which is broken for you; do this in remembrance of Me." 1Co 11:25 In the same manner He also took the cup after supper, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in My blood. This do, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me." 1Co 11:26 For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord's death till He comes.
Not too long before He died on the cross, Jesus was talking to His disciples about the reality that existed between Him and Them. Lord Jesus said: ABIDE in Me. The truth of this is, that away from Jesus, there was little they (the disciples) could do. They were so unprofitable away from Jesus. They were very unfruitful away from Jesus, and they were so insecure away from Jesus…
This Morning, Lord Jesus will turn, not to the disciples, but to you and I. Not from the cross, but now from heaven and He wants to tell you that it is a MUST to ABIDE in Him. The reality of this is that like the disciples, there is so little that we can do away from Him. Even if we think that we are prospering in this secular life, even if we believe that things are marvelous, even if we believe that we have conquered more things than ever…The question is: Do you ABIDE in Him?
As a Christian, by now we need to know and understand that the only way to maintain this spiritual life is by receiving help from Jesus… • What does it mean to ABIDE? • to remain; continue; stay: Abide with me. dwell; reside: • to continue in a particular condition, attitude, relationship, • to endure, sustain, or withstand without yielding or submitting: to wait for; await: to abide the coming of the Lord. to accept without opposition or question: Knowing the Definition: Do you ABIDE in Him?
Abiding IN Christ
John 15 1 "I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. 2 Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit. 3 You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you.
4 Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. 5I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. 6 If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned.
7 If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. 8 By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples.

Christ is the True One! 15:2… “Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away…” We are in Christ in order to produce fruit. That’s just normal for every Christian that is in Christ. The result of NO fruit is: Cut off, and thrown in the furnace • Matthew 3:8 "Therefore bear fruits worthy of repentance, • Philippians 1:11 being filled with the fruits of righteousness which are by Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.

The Danger of Substitute Vines • Vs. 1 "I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser.” • Pseudo-vines… • Initially thrill us, then drain us. There is a big danger when we try to substitute Lord Jesus in Our Lives!
The Danger of Substitute Vines Vs. 1 "I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser.” Isaiah 5:2… He dug it up and cleared out its stones, And planted it with the choicest vine. He built a tower in its midst, And also made a winepress in it; So He expected it to bring forth good grapes, But it brought forth wild grapes. Isaiah 5:1… Now let me sing to my Well-beloved A song of my Beloved regarding His vineyard: My Well-beloved has a vineyard On a very fruitful hill.
The Danger of Substitute Vines Vs. 1 "I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser.” Isaiah 5:4 What more could have been done to My vineyard That I have not done in it? Why then, when I expected it to bring forth good grapes, Did it bring forth wild grapes? Isaiah 5:3 "And now, O inhabitants of Jerusalem and men of Judah, Judge, please, between Me and My vineyard.
The Danger of Substitute Vines Vs. 1 "I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser.” Isaiah 5:6 I will lay it waste; It shall not be pruned or dug, But there shall come up briers and thorns. I will also command the clouds That they rain no rain on it." Isaiah 5:5 And now, please let Me tell you what I will do to My vineyard: I will take away its hedge, and it shall be burned; And break down its wall, and it shall be trampled down.
The Danger of Substitute Vines Vs. 1 "I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser.” Isaiah 5:7… For the vineyard of the LORD of hosts is the house of Israel, And the men of Judah are His pleasant plant. He looked for justice, but behold, oppression; For righteousness, but behold, a cry for help. Can we substitute Lord Jesus, for any other “FALSE RELIGION”? There is a big Danger and we all MUST BE AWARE OF IT. Israel did it, What about Us?
