The Target Market • The key demographic is 16- 24 year olds. • There is no specification between gender as it’s a male/female orientated product. • Specifically targeted to young people who have keen interest in social media. • Product is not exclusive to specifically income and is affordable for people of different social backgrounds
Target Market continued • 16-24 demographic chosen because; these social media sites (Tumblr/twitter) are heavily use d by this age group they would understand the brand and the key message • This product is a new idea, and the intention is for the target audience to want to be the first to own a product like this and share the brand with their peers offline and online with social media sites.
Pricing Strategy • Being a new company, I want to best position myself to be able to compete in an already saturated market. • In order to do so. I looked at pricing of key leading brands in this area and chose to offer my product cheaper to entice consumers to purchase the product • On average T-shirt were retailing at 14-22 pounds. So I chose to price my products at £8 each in the hope that should enough units be bought I would make a profit
