Primary and Secondary Colors • Primary Colors, are the main types of colors that can be merged to create secondary colors. These colors consist of yellow, blue and red. • Secondary Colors, are colors that are made from the 3 primary colors that I stated. For example, Yellow and Red are merged to create Orange, Red and blue are merged to create Purple and finally, Blue and Yellow are merged to make Green
Complimentary colors Complimentary colors are colors that are shaded or lightened by either the color black or white. White will allow the color to be a lot lighter depending on how much you use and vice versa for black. This can also be called opposite colors
Split Complimentary Colors These are colors that are directly opposite from each other, the colors these consist of is Red, Orange, Green and Blue
Color Triad The color triad is a 12 point color wheel where if 3 spaces between each a triangle will be made with all of the primary colors pointed out. You can see this in the picture below
Monochromatic Colors These types of colors are colors that are shown in their different shades going from dark to light. These colors are shaded by the two colors black and white
