  2. Adverbs of Degree • เป็นกริยาวิเศษณ์ที่ทำหน้าที่ขยาย adjective หรือ adverb ด้วยกันเอง เพื่อ บอกระดับ หรือปริมาณความมากน้อย คำที่พบบ่อยๆ ได้แก่

  3. Adverbs of Degree เช่น • Very (เวรี่) แปลว่า มาก • Too (ทู) แปลว่า มาก, เกิน • Enough (อีนาฟ) แปลว่า พอ • So (โซ) แปลว่า มาก • Much (โซ) แปลว่า มาก

  4. ตำแหน่งของ Adverbs of Degree • ส่วนใหญ่ วางไว้หน้าคำที่มันขยาย มักจะขยาย adjective หรือ adverb ด้วยกันเอง และ วางไว้หน้ากริยาหลัก (main verb) หรือ ระหว่างกริยาช่วย ( auxiliary verb )กับ กริยาหลัก (main verb) เช่น

  5. ประโยคตัวอย่าง • I am too tired to go out tonight. ฉันเหนื่อยเกินไปกว่าที่จะออกไปข้างนอกคืนนี้ ( ขยาย adjective - tired) • Please do not speak too fast. โปรดอย่าพูดเร็วเกินไป ( ขยาย adverb - fast )
