KETOS RESOURCES-INNOVATIVE RECYCLING MISSION • KETOS resources, as the IR agent, is a Recycling company dedicated in its designated area , to convert waste tyres and plastics into commercial viable products, utilizing environmentally friendly recycling and manufacturing methods. We intend to make enough profit to generate a significant return for our investors and to finance continued growth in the recycling arena in Africa. We will also maintain a friendly, fair and creative work environment, which respects diversity, new ideas and hardwork.
INTRODUCING INNOVATIVE RECYCLING • Supplier of Tyre to fuel Conversion Plant • IR has the sole distribution rights of the Tyre to Fuel Conversion Plant for Africa • IR will order , import and commission on the Tyre to fuel conversion Plants • IR will together with the manufacturer of the tyre to fuel conversion plant, design the layout and advice on the construction of the building/premises • IR will train the personnel of the agency in the operating and maintenance of the tyre to fuel conversion plant
BASIS FOR SALE OF AGENCY • Purchase price of $1.95 million for the plant including the distillation units ( excluding taxes) • In the first year of full production a management fee equal to 7.5% of turnover will be paid monthly to IR by the agency. In the second year, this fee will be 5% and in the initial third and subsequent years 3% will be levied • Each agency will be assigned to a dedicated area of operation • 50% deposit is required when the agency contract is signed and the order placed with the manufacturer. The balance is payable when the plant arrives in Nigeria and a bank guarantee needs to be issued for this balance
Included in the price are: • 2 x Pyrolysis reactors • Combined air filtering units ( stage 1and 2) • Condensing system • Small plant fuel storage tank • 2 x 50,000 litresstorage tank • Waste gas purifying system • Gas and fuel burning system for heating of plant • Training of personnel in the operating of the plant • 1 x wire separator machine • 1 x 15000 litres /day Distillation Plant • 1 x tyre shredder ( max. 1.2 meter diameter) • 1 x water cooling tower system • Front-end loader / forklift
Not included in the price are: • Property • Site preparation • Buildings • Recruitment of personnel The cost of which have been put to N50,000,000 ($330,000) to be taken care of by the investor.
The system is designed to process a large variety of plastics ,rubber and waste tires. • The system can tolerate up to 25% other contaminants such as glass, soil, metals, moisture, etc. • No sorting or washing is required before processing. • System is modular in design to allow for easy expansion • Capacity of each module is approximately 20 tons of waste plastic and/or rubber a day. • From 25 tons of waste /day you get at least 11,250 liters of crude fuel/day. • This crude oil can be used for industrial burners and boilers. • If the crude oil goes through a secondary distillation it is converted to 9,500 litres of Diesel/day.
PRODUCTS The following products are produced on a daily basis • Crude oil and can be converted into 9500 litres of diesel by adding a distillation process. • Carbon black 10 tons/day • Steel wire scrap metal 2 tons/day
FINANCIALS Assumptions The following assumptions are applicable to all the financials: • All amounts are quoted in USD. • 24 hours working days (3 shifts) • 25 working days per month (6 days a week) • Selling price of plant fuel – $0.6 per litre • Selling price of scrap metal – $60 per ton • Selling price of black carbon – $100 per ton • No Government taxes are included in figures • No cost of capital is included • Estimated cost of a property is included
CAPITAL COST • Machineries, importation, commissioning and training of personnel = $1.95 million • This cost from the investor have been put to $330,000. • The total capital investment shall be $(1.95 million + 330,000) = $2,280,000. (N 360,000,000) 1 USD= N 157

PROPERTY AND FACTORY • It is advisable that the Agency owns the property where the factory and plant will be erected. • The property should not be smaller than 8 hectares. • The property should be accessible by tar road. • A factory of 1000 sq meters should be erected. • At least 5 hectares should be allocated for the storage of waste tyres.
PERSONNEL The following personnel will be appointed and trained to operate the plant: • Plant manager • 9 Labourers for Tyre to fuel conversion plant • 1 Financial person • 1 Administrative person
