  6. The HDSN is divided into TWO sections: Left Side Right Side • “LOVES” YOUR work. Notebook Rules • Do not RIP OUTpages or tear corners. • All handouts MUST BE GLUED IN! • Please don’t DOODLE unless it relates to science. • Your HDSN should only be used for SCIENCE CLASS and COMES TO CLASS EVERYDAY! • Each page should have the DATE andPAGE#. • BE COLORFUL, CREATIVE, & LOVE YOUR NOTEBOOK!   9. Getting Started 1 – Get out your spiral notebook. 2 - Fill out the info on the cover. 3 - Glue it on the front of the cover. Four Corners = 4C Put a drop of glue on each corner

  10. Page Numbers Add PAGE NUMBERS for the first twenty-one pages. 1st - Start with 1 in the bottom-right corner of the first page 2nd - Follow with a 2 on the back of that page in the bottom-left corner. 3rd – Continue until you number up to #21. EVENS ODDS

  11. Science Starters Glue your SCIENCE STARTER worksheet onpage one by following your teacher’s directions! FOLD A FLAP (or FAF): Fold the left side back and glue the flap.

  15. Your assignment … Add pictures, diagrams, or words that describes your favorite science things. You may draw them or use images you find online.

  16. 1st - Write “Super Science Words” on the top of page 2. 2nd - Fold the left side of the Scavenger Hunt worksheet. Glue onto page 3 of your notebook. 3rd – Follow your teacher’s directions to complete the worksheet. FOLD A FLAP (or FAF): Fold the left side back and glue the front.
