  4. Incident Info • Date - Monday • Time of Day – 0530 • Weather – 50 degrees with threat of rain • Location – SB I-405 just north of the SR 527 interchange • Truck was cut off by a latte sipping commuter • Driver is injured and requires extrication

  5. Dispatch Info • NORCOM dispatches a full rescue response • Engines 44, 45, 51, Ladders 42 & 31, Rescue 51, Aid 42, Battalions 42 & 51, Medic 47 & MSO 6 • En route units are told that there is an ongoing release of gasoline from the carrier

Tabletop Directions • Answer these questions… • What can help determine the contents of the tanker? • What additional resources would you request? • Where would you set up the command post? • How would you deal with the leaking contents? • What role would foam play in the incident? • What are your exposures? • What steps would you take to protect the exposures? • Use the seven step model to describe how you would resolve the incident
