Each student received a goodie bag full of bookmarks, pencils, candy, and coupons for Books a Million…don’t forget the Halloween cookies… October 4th, 2011 Students discuss the tradition of oral storytelling.

Survey Results 19 Students were surveyed. 10 Students Rated the books as 1 fantastic. 3 Students Rated the book as a 2. 2 Students Rated the books as a 3. 4 Students Rated the book as a 4. 0 Students Rated the book as a 5. 18 Students said that they would recommend the title to a friend. 1 Student said they would not recommend the title to a friend. 9 Students said that this was a book they would not have normally chosen. 10 Students said this was the type of book they liked to read. Suggestions for future programming include: more book clubs, tie-dye t-shirts, crafts, pictures, cake decorating, scrapbooking, field trips, painting, sewing, poetry, dancing, how to make jewelry, House of Night club, Haiku’s, Eragon, eating contest, rock band contest, golf tournament…
