  2. -Druidism came from the Land of Gaul. -Lived in the Iron Age and British Isles

  3. -Most knowledge comes from Julius Caesar, and friend. -Word comes from Celtic, Druwidesand means oak-knower

  4. -Made up Celtic religious, Society as priests. -No taxes, military service, Excommunication, and exiling

  5. -Highly respected along with, nobles, equites, and rulers. -Could stop warring armies. -priest, philosophers, doctors

  6. -Druids were trained in, Secret, in dark forests. -Training was intense and, Could take twenty years.

  7. -Druids practice human sacrifice, Drowning, burning and hanging -Used mostly criminals, Used innocents if necessary.

  8. -The soul is indestructible, Switch to different bodies. -metempsychosis “Pythagorean Doctrine” -Roman’s followed Catholicism.

  9. -”Druidic circles” a.k.a. Stonehenge -Monotheistic beliefs among druids -Ritual killings and burnings -Celtic god Samhain, Halloween
