  2. És un instrument autoregulador que consta de quinze principis que s’han d’aplicar en l’elaboració d’estadístiques comunitàries.

  4. 1. Augmentar la confiança en la independència, la integritat i la responsabilitat de les autoritats estadístiques.2. Reforçar la qualitat de les estadístiques.

  9. Quant a l’entorn institucional: Independència professional. Mandat de recollida de dades. Adequació de recursos. Compromís de qualitat. Confidencialitat estadística. Imparcialitat i objectivitat.

  10. Quant als processos estadístics: Metodologia sòlida. Procediments estadístics adequats. Càrrega no excessiva per als enquestats. Relació cost-eficàcia.

  11. Quant a la producció estadística: Pertinència. Precisió i fiabilitat. Oportunitat i puntualitat. Coherència i comparabilitat. Accessibilitat i claredat.

  12. VIGILÀNCIA DEL COMPLIMENT

  13. El Comitè del programa estadístic duu a terme periòdicament una revisió inter pares per fer un seguiment de l’aplicació del codi.
