  5. Steve hates his job

  6. Because Carl is happy, he completes his work well and on time.

  7. Because Steve is unhappy, he does his work without enthusiasm and usually performs poorly at work.

  8. Carl’s good mood at work helps him to be happier and more cooperative at home, causing him to have a successful and happy marriage.

  9. Steve’s disdain for work causes him to feel tired and moody at home. His marriage is in trouble…

  10. Carl’s good performance at work gives him time and energy to enjoy time with friends and family.

  11. Steve has neither the time nor the energy to enjoy time with friends and family

  12. Carl got a promotion!

  13. Steve got fired…
