The Operational MOU • The formal legal document that establishes the COE. • Mission, Vision etc come from the concept. • Contains detailed information on manning, funding and all aspects of the operation. • Details how to join or contribute. • A reflection of all Sponsoring Nation’s Ideas and desires • Signed only by Sponsoring Nations
The Functional MOU • The legal document that establishes the coordination of NATO activities at the COE. • Good portion of the text comes from the concept and OP MOU. • Contains detailed information on the functional relationship with NATO. • A reflection of all Sponsoring Nation’s + NATO Ideas and desires. • Signed by Sponsoring Nations and NATO
Technical Arrangement • (For Non NATO Nations, Industry, Academia etc) • The legal document that establishes the role of Contributing Partner/Participant in the activities of the COE. (One TA for each CP) • An agreement between the COE SNs and CP. • Contains detailed information of the contribution and what is expected in return. • A reflection of all Sponsoring Nation’s + CP Ideas and desires. • Signed by Sponsoring Nations and CP
