    2. Purpose The purpose of this study was to identify the style of faculty development most preferred by teachers to increase the use of the Promethean board in the classroom. The teachers at Bayou Woods Elementary were given the opportunity to experience various types of professional development including Blackboard discussions, tutorials, workshops and one on one sessions to acclimate the use of technology into their everyday classroom lessons.
