Where are the cleanest beaches in Hong Kong? • Outlying Islands (Nine beaches) • Best area of beaches in Hong Kong • Best water quality in Hong Kong • A real holiday atmosphere surrounded by nature
best beach : Lo So Shing • Worse beaches: Silver Mine Bay and Cheung Chau Tung Wan • Reason: Silver Mine Bay – dependent on (1) septic tank (2) soakaway pit systems • Cheung Chau Tung Wan – Too many people –The water is dirty.
Cheung Chau Tung Wan had the most visitors but Lo So Shing had the less!
Cleanest area: outlying island Cleanest beach : Lo So Shing annual ranking >>> good Reason: • no factories near it • fewer visitors

Ma Wan Tung Wan had the most visitors and Gemini did not have any visitor
Dirtiest period: June & July & August Reason: • High attendance rate • the weather is hot • students don’t need to go to school
