5. CID Freight offers global door to door courier services. Fast, flexible and door-to-door. Courier parcels has a maximum weight of 30kg or maximum dimensions of 120cm x 80cm x 80cm per package. Documents and parcels can be couriered. Every shipment must be accompanied with an invoice. We offer global imports and export courier services. All shipment should be adequately packed. Dangerous Goods cannot be sent via a courier service. Our airfreight service accommodates Dangerous Goods consignments with MSDS certification. Our airfreight service offer is also highly flexible to meet specific customer requirements. While door to door is our standard offering, airport to airport, door to airport and airport to door options are also available. One of our unique service offerings are our door to door (Duties paid and unpaid – DDU/DDP) into most African countries. Improper packaging can result in increased damages and claims, and may eliminate the carrier’s liability. Contact your packaging supplier or a packaging consultant for assistance. Stacking A Pallet: To maximize carton strength, stack the pallet vertically, secure cartons to the pallet with banding, shrink-wrap, stretch-wrap or breakaway adhesive, Place cartons squarely on the skid with no overhang, be sure the top surface is flat, add sheets of cardboard between layers for additional strength. CID Freight offers our clients a packaging service inclusive of DGR pakaging according to international standards. All door to door inquiries for airfreight shipments must be accompanied with the following information: City of origin, country of origin, invoice value, HS code, shippers full details, airport of departure, airline of arrival, airline used, packing list, consignment dimensions, consignment actual weight, number of pieces, country of destination, city of destination, consignees full contact details and INCO term required.

We offer consolidation loads to all SADC countries. We use selected third party transporters for dedicated loads to all SADC countries. Fleet include 8 Tonners, Tri Axles and Super links. 10. CID Freight provides our clients with access to a large global network of warehousing and distribution facilities. The facilities in our network are fully equipped with bonded warehouses; specialized forklifts for different applications; well-designed pallet racking systems and specialized handling equipment, ultimately ensuring consignments are handled effectively, efficiently and safely. In-house staff is adequately trained to repack, crate, pack general cargo and DGR goods as per international regulations (IATA). Warehousing facilities are equipped with CCTV, burglar detection and access control to ensure consignments are secure. We provide uniformed and standardized receiving and inspection processes supported by advanced IT systems. This ensures the storage and retrieval of goods with pin point accuracy and allows us to provide inventory control for our clients to effectively plan stock levels to minimize their costs.
