Collisions • Two types of analysis • Impulse = change in momentum (eg. collision with immovable object) • Conservation of momentum for system • p-total-before = p-total-after • System is different  both colliding objects • (Perfectly) Elastic collisions (KE conserved) • Inelastic (KE not conserved) • Completely Inelastic collisions (sticky)
