  2. Battle of Lexington and Concord • The battle of Lexington and Concord started in 1775. • The British won the battle of Lexington • The Colonists won the battle of Concord after. • This war was important because it was the battle that started the Revolutionary war.

  3. Bunker Hill • In 1776 the British won the war of Bunker Hill. • The battle was important because the British decided to drive the Americans from their strategic locations, but they knew that defeating the Americans would not be easy.

  4. Battle of Long Island • 1776 • Won by the British • This battle was important because it killed many American soldiers • It also caused a large amount of American supplies to be used up

  5. The Battle of Trenton/Princeton • The battle started in 1776 • The patriots won YAY!!!! • The patriots captured a lot of the British solders. TAKE THAT ENGLAND. :D

  6. The Battle of Saratoga • 1777 • Won by the Americans • It caused a large amount of British soldiers to surrender • Started a little spark of hope for the patriots

  7. The Battle of Yorktown • The battle started in 1780 • The patriots won YAY • England surrendered in oct19
