  1. Description: Provide scholarships for aspiring engineers, technicians, programmers, military personnel and government officials.  • Major Activities: • Monthly luncheon raffles, Golf Tournament, JWC • Maintain successful scholarship program recognizing area students for further study in communications and engineering disciplines • Increase scholarship giving 5% over previous year. • Provide 1 year AFCEA membership to all scholarship winners to increase their exposure and interest in AFCEA. • Supporting Chapter Objective(s) • Support Science/Math/Engineering/Technology (STEM) activities to promote educational value of future Young AFCEANs, fund STEM projects, provide publicity of chapter activities in support of our communities, and increase public awareness of AFCEA International.
