Does America still follow it today? Why or why not? No The US has many alliances today and is involved with almost all of the world’s countries. Advancements in military technology such as Nuclear Weapons along with those in transportation and communication have made the world a much smaller place and an ocean is no longer a great obstacle to overcome.
