Benchmarks • Target Coverage: 100% (Institution-wise, No. of children-wise, in terms of No. of meal served) • Desirable stock in hand : 15% (+ or - 5%) • Availability of foodgrains [1.4.09 to 31.12.09]: 85% (+ or – 10%) • Utilisation of foodgrains and cooking cost [1.4.09 to 31.12.09]: 75% (+ or – 10%) • Every month 1/12th of foodgrains is lifted & distributed. • Utilisation of foodgrains & cooking cost is synchronous. • State’s AWP&B is in accordance with M/HRD’s guidelines. • Data in the AWP&B is authentic, reliable & based on the records. Proposal for Cook-cum-helper engaged in MDM Scheme The work of supply of MDM has been allotted to registered self help group. All the arrangement of appointments of cook cum helper and the remuneration is managed by the SHG. The State has submitted the requirement of one helper to serve the meal to the students in each primary school and two helpers for each upper primary school. The proposal is not as per GOI norm.
