  3. Useful when a child is sick • Can use as an assessment tool • Used by both students and teachers • Learning is self-regulated • There is an Ipad app

  4. What are the weaknesses?

  5. When I was inserting my powerpoint presentation into this canvas, it didn’t work the first few times I tried– as with all technologies, this one is no different. Unreliable. • Internet explorer 8 does not support Edcanvas • Canvases are all online- if site is taken down so are your canvases

  6. It is a brand new technology and they are still very much working out the kinks. • Schools firewall can prevent youtube videos and certain sites from being played • (but edcanvas suggest some alternatives, teachertube, vimeo, schooltube).
