  8. 1st He tries to get her to question God’s Word (Gen 3:1) Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?

  9. 2nd He changes God’s Word (Gen 3:4) And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: (Gen 2:17) But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

  10. 1st He tries to get her to question God’s Word 2nd He changes God’s Word 3rd He reinterpreted God’s Word

  11. Why Is Satan So Dead Set On Attacking The Word of God?

  12. Job 41:12-14 – “ I will not conceal his parts, nor his power, nor his comely proportion. Who can discover the face of his garment? or who can come to him with his double bridle? Who can open the doors of his face? his teeth are terrible round about.”

  13. Why The Attack? Because of the Preeminence GOD HAS PLACED UPON IT.

  17. Why The Attack? Because of the Preeminence GOD HAS PLACED UPON IT. Because Satan Wants to Destroy Your Confidence IN a Final Authority

  18. Matthew 7:28 - “And it came to pass, when Jesus had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at His doctrine” • Matthew 7:29 - For He taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.

  19. Why Undermine? Satan knows that without a total confidence in the Bible as your final authority that the Bible can’t really effectively work in your life

  20. 1 Thessalonians 2:13 – “For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe.”

  21. Why Undermine? Satan knows that without a total confidence in the Bible as your final authority that the Bible will not be effective in helping you through the basic problems of life.

  22. Hebrews 4:12-13 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.

  23. Why Undermine? Satan knows that without a total confidence in the Bible as your final authority that you will not be effective in standing in the battle against him.

  29. Why The Attack? Because of the Preeminence GOD HAS PLACED UPON IT. Because Satan Wants to Destroy Your Confidence IN a Final Authority Because Satan Must Divert the attention away from the Bibles obvious proof of divine authorship and supernatural construction

  32. “I know I’m right because I feel in my heart that I’m right and Jesus lives in my heart”

  33. “I know I’m right because Christianity has more followers than any of the other religions in the world”

  34. “I know I’m right because the Author of my faith has given me a Book that is UNLIKE any of the books of any religion in the world…God has presented us with a SUPERNATURAL Book, and I can PROVE to you that it has come to us from the very hand of God”

  37. In GENESIS we read: “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth” (1:1) • In REVELATION we read: “I saw a new heaven and a new earth” (21:1) UnexplainableUnity
