  2. Animal • The scientific name - linckia laevigaa • The common name - blue star fish • Where can it be found tropical saltwater bodies • Sea star fish is not a fish • There thousand of them in the ocean

  3. Fungi The scientific name of my organism is Saccharonys cerevisiae. The common name is Baking Yeast . You can find baking yeast in most grocery stores. One interesting facts about baking yeast is that it makes bread rise. Another that it has a chemical reaction with the starch in the bread.

  4. Bacteria • Scientific name – Treponemo pallidom • Common name – Lues • Anywhere on the body. • An organism that can swim through gel-like material. • They are spiral shaped.

Protests • The scientific name for this organism is Macrocystis angustifolia • The common name is Kelp • You can find it on the sea floors • Some interesting facts about it are that during late spring these plants can grow at a rate of 30cm per day. Kelp is a species that is often found in large quantities after storms.

  6. Plant • The scientific name for my organism is Floydiella terrostris. The common name for it is Green Algae. You can find Green algae by the sea. Algae cant grow with out sun. Algae grows on the shore by the ocean.
