Mentors and Personal experiences • One of mentors was definitely my art teacher from 5th grade and went by the name Mr. Danny. He was an amazing artist and after school one day, my friends and I got the chance to talk to him and he showed us his personal art notebook. He was the nicest teacher and I had always wondered how he had never made it big with such an amazing talent. Never in my 11 years had I seen art so realistic created by a person who I knew. I had never seen real art until then and it took my breath away. He definitely inspired me. Unfortunately, he quit being my art teacher and I haven’t seen him since. • Another artist who inspired me is Edgar Mueller. He is an professional artist who creates 3 dimensional works of art using only chalk and the world as his canvas. The art itself is 2-D but appears as 3 dimensional object or picture through illusion.
